Hi there thanks for looking, I'm a professional woman in my late thirties; I'm currently house caring in Woollahra, Sydney. The house belongs to a lovely couple who are on holiday overseas for 2 months, they return on the 30th January so I'll be available from then on. This is my 2nd house caring assignment and I'm pleased to say they have already recommended me to some friends of theirs who may require a house carer later this year. I mention this because references are important for someone who is going to entrust their home, possessions and possibly pets to a stranger. I can provide character references from my previous house sit (Darlinghurst, Sydney) and my current householders upon their return. I am also happy if you would like me to provide bond for your piece of mind.

Its important knowing your home is safe, that your pets if you have them will be looked after, plants watered, that you'll return to a clean, tidy house (and garden) with milk in the fridge, the mail collected, a few groceries maybe, that sort of thing. That's what I want too and for that reason I think I make a very suitable house sitter. I will check in with friends, family, neighbours (if required) be in regular contact with you by phone, email, skype whichever, until you are satisfied that all is well and that there is nothing to worry about back home. My motto is to leave your home better than I found it.

I grew up on a farm and have been surrounded by pets and animals most of my life, dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, chickens, even a pet wombat. I understand what animals need to be happy and will follow your pet caring instructions meticulously. I love walking (currently Centennial Park) so if you have dogs that gives me the perfect excuse but I'll go walking anyway.

I am a non-smoker and live quietly, if it makes any difference I work as an Architect in Sydney cbd. I own a home in a scenic area of Tasmania, which is currently tenanted; I am saving so I can build my dream home there. I don't envy the task of having to select from so many suitable candidates but now that you have read this far why not get in touch and let me try and persuade you to give me a try.
