About this house sitting position in DARLINGHURST
I travel 2- 3 times a year, between 3 and 5 weeks, so this could become something regular.
I would also consider the right sitter to stay for a longer periods before and after my trips as my past sitter has done, if required.
I am looking for someone who has owned large dogs or has had contact with large dogs in the past.This sit is only for real dog lovers, as my boys are very much house dogs. The more time you have available to spend with the 2 boys, the better chance you have of being considered. A retired couple, a mature student or someone who works from home are the only ones that I would consider. My boys are accustomed to having people around the house.
My home is a luxury townhouse in Darlinghurst; 15 minutes walk to Town Hall. Train and bus are close by. The townhouse is located in a security complex with communal swimming pool is very quiet with beautiful gardens and my home has its own tropical low maintenance garden. There may be undercover parking for one car. There are two levels, with the ground floor having separate living, dining, kitchen, laundry and powder rooms. The first floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom is a study with a small convertible lounge ( not good for more than one or two nights stay) and the main bedroom is where the dogs sleep, it would only suitable for a couple or a single male. Wireless Internet, cable TV is available as are free Australian telephone calls. You need to have the ability to Look after and walk 2 very spoilt and strong Boxer dogs, which have the run of the house. They need to be walked every morning. They are typical boxers, very excitable, particularly when they see other dogs. Not aggressive, just excitable and can be quite a handful when that happens. One of the boys is on medication twice a day at around 7AM- 6-7PM so the sit is only suitable for people who are able to be available around those times. This would not be suitable for most single Women, unless they have had experience with two large male dogs in the past.Sorry no one with there own cat or dog. If you are interested in this situation, please provide details of your age, Current working position, working hours, and any previous dog sitting experience along with the reason that you are interested in sitting. This would apply to a partner also. I would also need to meet anyone interested, before I make a decision. For me to consider your application, I need as much information about you as possible.
