About this house sitting position in Doubleview

3x2 single storey house on a 700sqm block on a quiet street, 1950 style property which has been fully renovated, so all up to date facilities, to include WiFi / Foxtel / AC to main living area, not a large house but still comfortable & fairly easy maintenance. There is a double carport to front of property so off street parking (though we have 2 cars which will be left at property for sitting duration) there is also additional parking for 2 cars off road on driveway to front of property . Front & rear gardens are fully landscaped, to include fruit trees, & 4 vegetable beds, which you can help yourself to veggies & herbs from for duration of house sit. Front & rear gardens both have automatic retic to most of garden, but will need a little additional watering to pots in garden / veggie patches / front small lawn, all areas reachable by hose.
Rear garden also has a large entertaining area with wood fired Pizza oven / table / chairs / outdoor kitchen so you can enjoy the morning / afternoon sunshine if that's your thing, there is also a deck with pergola & BBQ with North facing aspect attached to back of property.

There are a few Restaurants / Cafes nearby along with shops all within short walking distance. Public transport to the CBD is pretty easy with regular buses running along Scarborough Beach Rd every 10-15mins during the day (3mins walk away) the bus drops you at Glendalough train Station where you can catch the train to CBD or Clarkson. I usually commute on bicycle to CBD which is a 25min ride also. Just down the road approx. 2km is Brighton or Scarborough beach.

We have 2 Russian blue cats, who both like their fuss as much as any other cat, who would need the usual attention, feeding / watering / cleaning of cat litter, both are very people friendly & are inside cats.
We also have 6 chickens to rear of property who will supply you with fresh eggs every day, in return they will need their water / food checking daily, & a bit of clearing of coop once a week. We also have fish in a tank in the house & a water feature to rear garden which have fish in that will need feeding daily.

We will be heading to Europe for a holiday from 30th Nov – 3rd January so house, so house will need sitting through these dates. Read more...
