About this house sitting position in Glencoe

My wife Jo and I are planning a four week holiday starting on 30 Aug and ending on 26 September 2015. We were wondering if you would be interested in house sitting for us for that three week period? We would like you to be here for the period of 28 August to 27 September.

We live on one acre in the small village of Glencoe which is 22k south of Glen Innes in Northern NSW on the New England Tableland. We have two dogs (a beautiful Border Collie and a small Tibetan Spaniel cross), two very nice ginger cats with loveable dispositions, quite a few chooks, a fish tank with one large tropical fish (Oscar) and a vegetable garden including a hot house where we grow vegetables during the cold winter months.

During the time we will be away it will be the beginning of Spring and each week if you drove through Glen Innes you would see a new array of colour as the trees are flowering. The grass won't need mowing as it doesn't start to grow again until early October.

Our house is new (under five years old years old) with double glazed windows and fully insulated walls and ceilings. We have reverse cycle airconditioning and solar hot water. We also have solar panels which feed power back to the electricity system so electricity usage is not a problem.

If you own a caravan, access and parking near the house is not a concern.
