About this house sitting position in Gold Coast

2 Bedroom, Split Level, Town House, 10min Walk from the beach & close to public transport. Situated on a Canal at Burleigh Waters, Gold Coast. The apartment is a little run down but it's location more than makes up for its tired interior.

I have a 4 year old Cat 'Louie' who has outdoor (yard only) privileges when someone is at home (and I usually allow him to stay outside up to 10pm in the evenings when I’m home)

I work on a contract bases that often requires me to travel so I'm looking for someone who preferably lives on the Gold Coast or nearby who can look after Louie and my plants when I have to travel for work (which can range between an overnight trip up to a couple of months away) so might best suit someone who rents locally but wants the opportunity to get away from the flatmates whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Would need some light cleaning done during the longer house sit gigs but this would only involved dusting, vacuuming and the bins once a week.

I'd prefer someone who can be home most days (or at least a good part of the day) and as much as possible in the evenings so Louie can have his 'outside time' (he gets a little stressed out if he’s locked up for too long)

Louie has wet food 3 - 4 times a day (1x can per day) and usually looks for food at Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon-Tea & Dinner. He also has biscuits in between his wet food (so you might have to top up his biscuit bowl during the day - it all depends on how active he is)

He has two inside kitty litter trays - but generally prefers to do his business outside in the yard - so would be great if you could clean this up once a week on bin night - but this would only be required on the longer house sitting jobs.

Louie pretty much keeps to himself - although he does love a good game of soccer and or chase the rolled up paper ball, and he usually brings himself into the house between 10am & 2pm for a nap. Read more...
