About this house sitting position in Yeppoon

I need a very special kind of rural experienced house sitter for a pack of 6 dogs and 2 horses on a rural bush property near Yeppoon on the sunny Capricorn Coast in Central Queensland.

I am seeking a highly experienced and special person/s to care for my 6 dogs and 2 horses for a week in November.
Two of the dogs are 'senior' (aged 14 yrs and 13 yrs) and require twice daily medication and patience with their slow eating habits and small walks and senior ‘ways’ and at times they need to get up in the night for outside toilet walks.

The dogs are all indoor and outdoor dogs and spend all of their time following you around. They have a one acre fully fenced house yard that keeps them safe and secure.

The younger four dogs require twice daily walks around the 25 acre property. (Two of these younger dogs are deaf and work of hand signals).

All dogs are happy well behaved confident loving obedience and agility trained dogs but are VERY active and enjoy interaction and activity. They need someone that is positive and friendly and doesn’t mind being ambushed and licked when you come in the gate or get up in the morning and someone that wants to ‘hang out’ with the furkids (no harsh treatment as all dogs are trained with positive reinforcement).

The two horses need feeding twice daily and checking their water supply and just pats and cuddles.

The 25 acre bush property is located 10 kms from Yeppoon and the beautiful Capricorn Coast beaches. Yeppoon has Coles, Target, Big W, Woolworths etc. The city of Rockhampton is located within an easy 25 km drive.

The house is a modern lowset cool 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home. It is very secluded and surrounded by bush with no immediate neighbours. Rainwater tank supplies the house so there is a need for observing limited water usage practices and septic serves the property so care needs to be taken with usage. Prefer vegetarian or self-contained RV is very welcome.

Mobile phone requires 3G or 4G. There is a landline phone in the house with wireless ADSL internet but the property is located in a Telstra 'blackspot' behind a hill so mobile coverage is ‘patchy’.

No work to be done (unless you enjoy weeding the ever growing garden!) but I do want someone that is willing to be here at the house most of the time, just spending time hanging out with the crew and taking very loving care of the furkid family, especially the 2 senior dogs and enjoying the sunny Central Queensland region.
