Hello,
We are a (long term together) very happily married male couple who are retired from the workforce.
Neil is 73 years old, and Geoffrey is 77 years old.

We are very quiet, no-nonsense clean-living sort of blokes. We may be "old boys", but we are reasonably fit and healthy with no big health issues.
We go on long morning walks -- weather permitting.
We enjoy taking the dogs we are looking after on these walks with us.

We do not do drugs, smoke, vape, [absolutely HATE it] or gamble.
Happy hour each afternoon is usually just one or two small drinks. Our intake of alcohol is extremely limited.
Both of us cannot stand a lot of alcoholic drinks.
We certainly are not party people. We are far too old to " party on". Lol. 😀 We are home every night, apart from the occasional dinner at the local club/ pub.

Honesty is the best policy with respect, and the privacy of the homeowner is important.
Ask any questions and you will be given honest answers.

What you see of us is what you get.
We are just a pair of "oldies" enjoying life in retirement
There is no room in this world to tell B/S stories. It gets you nowhere.

Our aim is to enjoy caring for the homeowner's property and animals as best as we can, giving love and kindness to your family pets and farm animals as you would want them to receive from us.

It is so important that the homeowner's can go away knowing that their home and pets will be cared for as they want them to be.
Homeowners put a lot of trust in the house sitters in doing the right thing.
Trust is not just a given thing. It must be earnt by us as house sitters. We very seriously do our best to earn the trust of the homeowner.

We take housesitting and pet care very seriously.
We have a lovely home of our own and are very fussy regarding cleanliness, and the same would apply to your home. We always present the homeowners to a lovely "welcome home" feeling upon their arrival back home.
It is our expectation we receive a clean and tidy home and then we are able to present you a lovely clean home upon your return home.

A clean and tidy home is a happy home.

Good communication is vital between homeowners and the house sitters. We regularly keep in contact with the homeowners by text messages. photos and phone videos and telephone calls.

Our preference for house sits would be acreage properties. Up until May 2024, we owned a beautiful 6.5-acre property for 4 years at Ravenshoe, Atherton Tablelands, Far North Queensland.
We only had bore water and tank water, so we are very much water wise, and aware of the way of country life.
We have had considerable experience with ride- on mowers, especially zero turn ride- on mowers.

All other types of properties for house sitting will be considered too, depending on location etc.

We currently live in an Over 50's Lifestyle Resort at Burpengary East, northern side of Brisbane. We have no pets or family ties, so we are able to lock up the house and go.

It is our preference to travel to meet the homeowner (depending on distance) prior to commencement of the house sit.
This gives us the chance to discuss the home sit and to establish a relationship between us to see if we are a good fit together.

It could be said that we are experienced house sitters.

Our house-sitting commenced January 2019 with house sits ranging from Whyanbeel, near Mossman, Far North Queensland to McMasters Beach, near Gosford, NSW with many places in between.
During Covid-19 there was a 2.5-year break.

Up until April 2026, we have successfully completed 34 house sits. These have ranged from 3 nights to 2 months in length.

Most of our house-sitting positions have been booked through another well-known house-sitting website, Aussie H----e Sitters, and also
a number of repeat house-sitting jobs to the same properties.

We keep a diary of every house sit showing homeowners names, locations, pet/ farm care and home care duties. 😀
