[About Ourselves]

Husband and wife pet-sitting duo composed of:
• Hanna: an animal lover and certified dog trainer who is passionate about helping dogs who have reactivity, fear, and anxiety. She works in marketing.
• Conrad: an experienced dog owner and fellow animal lover. He is a scientist and will be starting his PhD at UQ in April 2025.

• 4 years of house sitting and pet sitting experience as a couple. Through a combination of Rover, a pet-sitting app, and pet-sitting for friends and family, we have taken care of more than 50 dogs and cats over the past 4 years. This has included over 20 separate instances of house-sitting for 6 different clients, for periods of up to 1 month.

• Moving to Brisbane, Australia in April 2025, as Conrad has been accepted to pursue his PhD at the University of Queensland. We are from Nova Scotia, Canada. We are also generally looking to do longer-term sits (a month or more), since we are planning on using house-sitting as our primary accommodation while in Brisbane for 6 months in 2025 and are trying not to move around too often.

• Foster members with the SPCA and other local rescue organizations, with experience fostering high-maintenance dogs and cats.

• We do not own any pets, but it's our dream to have many someday!
• We do not smoke.


[Safety & Trust]
• Will not let pets off leash outside unless specifically permitted by owner.

• We take care to avoid creating any hazards for your pets in the house.

• We will take any requests from you for any additional safety measures - so feel free to let us know!


[Services]
• Experienced with reactive dogs and dogs with separation anxiety.

• Experienced with dogs and cats with advanced medical needs including physical disabilities and illnesses requiring medication.

• Happy to offer short or long walks depending on your dog's needs.

• Regular play sessions with chew toys, balls, stuffed animals, puzzles, or any other type of play your pet enjoys.

• Regular updates by taking pictures/videos and sending notes.

• Love to get to know your pet's personality so that they can feel comfortable and have the best experience when they are with us! Please let us know what they like to do (sniffing during a walk, playing with toys, cuddling, etc.).
