My name is Glenda. I am a recently retired police officer, previously a nurse and am very active, capable and independent. I pride myself on my reputation for quality care and being a trusted house and pet sitter. I have a lot of experience house and pet sitting which started a few years ago as favors for friends and led me to join professional housesitting groups and I’ve never been busier!
I found myself booked up for a year prior to COVID then when everyone’s dream holidays were cancelled I had to pick and choose as WA people made the most of exploring their own state. I have many repeat requests from owners who are now friends and know they can leave everything in my care with not a worry in the world.
I am an avid animal lover and they are always my top priority. Owners reviews always comment on the fact that I am very considerate, keep them up to date with their pets by sending photos and brief stories which has been so appreciated.
I am also the original clean freak and do have some OCD which owners love because their homes are always immaculately maintained. Therefore i prefer to be upfront and let you know that i only accept sits that are clean and tidy (not show homes) but comfortably clean, I hope you understand.
I have very good references and am happy to meet owners if practicable or chat on the phone and can also put you in contact with previous sits as it is a huge leap of faith for owners and I would rather you be reassured so you can go away feeling relaxed and confident that everything will be taken care of.
I used to conduct sits with my husband but due to a change in circumstances I am now looking after things by myself. Therefore if a sit is less than two weeks or depending on the distance involved I ask owners to consider contributing towards travel costs.
