We are a couple both 65 years old. We are owners of a software company, and have recently retired from our full time roles. We have decided very recently to have a complete change in our lives. We have ordered a new Caravan and intend to take some time off to explore the Continent. My wife and I love animals and gardens too. We would be very happy whilst travelling to have somewhere to look after. We want to keep ourselves safe and think that home minding can be a nice way to see different parts of the country, as we explore with our new mobile home. We will take great care. Carol is a friend of all cats, and we are both dog lovers. We have owned rural property's before and are very capable around lawnmowers, swimming pools and gardens. We are very respectful to others, and value our integrity. We would happily Skype or Face-time, for a face to face meeting..... (5 Months on) We are now on our 2nd house sit and are enjoying splitting our lives between home minding and touring in our caravan. Both home minding experiences have gone very well and the home owners are happy to give us a reference personally if required. We also have a police check certificate.
1 Year on...... We have had a great year splitting our time between exploring and home minding, We are enjoying it very much and all home minds have been a delight. We are intending to carry on and hope we can soon explore outside QLD.
Update June 2024.
We have been home minding for nearly 4 years now and have had a wonderful time. it will come to an end after this year as I will be going to the UK next year to oversee the opening of our new office in London. We will miss it i'm sure. We have a delightful four years of traveling, home/animal minding, after a life time of working hard, I'm sure we will return to it again when we return from London
