We appreciate you taking the time to get to know us, and how we can help you, as we have assisted many other homeowners in 12+ years of full-time House & Pet Sitting around the world.

We do have a full website sharing all about us, our extensive experience and over 100+ expressions of appreciation and testimonials from previous owners (and some furry friends ☺), along with a Facebook page that shares our current experiences.

We understand that is a lot of information, so for your convenience here is a brief overview below.

What We Bring To You…

As a mature aged couple we have extensive life experience. Before House & Pet Sitting, we owner built our own home, bought and sold investment properties, while maintaining successful careers. In addition we have looked after and loved our own pets and raised two boys, who have now built successful lives of their own.

Over our many years House & Pet Sitting we have drawn on these skills and experience to maintain the properties, pools, cars and other requirements of our homeowners, while providing loving care and attention for the many and various furry and feathered friends we have taken care of.

In addition we now have extensive skills in the unique requirements of House & Pet Sitting, such as assisting homeowners with their first house & pet sit. We also provide detailed questionnaires so we have all the required information and you have the confidence and peace of mind to enjoy you holiday knowing everything is taken care of. Additionally we bring the experience of having dealt with many and varied unexpected situations and events, including dealing with unwell pets, property and car issues.

Our Lifestyle…

It’s simple, we wanted a different lifestyle, one that is based on Trust and Contribution. Additionally we wanted to travel and experience the local life, cultures, people and pets of the world.

We appreciate the generosity and trust from all our previous home and pet owners as well as the love of their pets, and it’s extra special when many invite us back for repeat sits. Like the one below, we have now done 5 times.

We were away for 2 months, which is a long time to be away from our furry friends but they treated them with so much love and attention. We knew this from the many pictures they shared with us. Frankie our dog adored them - she loved going on the long walks, swimming and to the dog park. Brooklyn, our cat, was very relaxed and content with their company. They were just as attentive to our home as well. The house was immaculate and the gardens beautiful when we arrived home. A Bit About Us…

We are both semi-retired professionals who own and operate our own businesses online over the internet, so we have the freedom of working from anywhere, and to do the things that we love, such as further travel, looking after animals and living in new places. Because we work online we spend most of our time at home with your pets.

However we also have experience in Relief Management for motels, and B & B's, which we do occasionally when the right opportunity presents itself. This has provided us with hospitality experience, cooking breakfast and dinner, supervising and assisting cleaning staff and managing booking systems. We are in good health, enjoy walking, and have completed 2 Caminos: Camino de Santiago 800kms across Spain, and half of the Via Francigena, which was a 1300km walk from Switzerland to Rome. We love adventure and new experiences, and when challenges arise we always find the way forward.

We have travelled overseas, with tours, back packing and volunteering in Africa where we helped manage and look after a Lion and Tiger breeding park.

Gavin spent 20 years in the Aviation industry as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and then transferred to Simulation where he developed a passion for electronics and software programming and held positions such as Group Quality Assurance Manger, Business Development Manager, Systems Development & Continuous Improvement consultant for many SME’s.

Jill has over 20 years experience in payroll and bookkeeping, and over 10 years as a life coach and mentor, which resulted in extensive personal development. Jill has established herself as trustworthy, reliable and compassionate, which have been great transferrable skills into house and pet sitting.
