Hi there, my name is Tamar and I may just be your next house and pet sitter. I am an independent, respectful and responsible lady who understands the importance of you putting your trust in me when looking after your home and beloved fur-babies while you are away.

I am a 100% cat lover and understand even the most timid and aloof felines. Whilst I love dogs as well, I have a lot more experience with cats and really "get them" and appreciate that I am just lucky to live in their world! ;) I have grown up around cats, and most of my sits end up being for cats so I am very experienced and in-tune with their unique and very individual natures - I believe only a true cat lover can appreciate and understand these beautiful feline creatures.

I have a stable job in Brisbane CBD, although my hours are flexible within reason, so I can be up early for play and feeding time and am home early enough for afternoon feeding and more dedicated play time.

I am a house-proud, tidy and respectful female who leads a healthy lifestyle. I am from a family where we have always had cats, dogs and hens and I was raised to take absolute care and pride in what I own and do.

You'll find me to be an animal lover at heart and happily take the time to bond with your feline/fur-babies.

Regardless of wherever I have lived, I have always treated mine and other people's belongings, property and fur/feather-babies with the utmost respect and dignity. I am more than happy to get stuck in and mow lawns, scoop leaves out of pools, wash cars and light gardening.

My referees are happy to talk to you about my time in their homes and how relaxed they felt while away and at ease when they arrived home.

Whilst I housesit as a 'single', I do have a partner although he has his own place and does not sit with me.

I really enjoy and take pride in my house and pet sitting assignments... so I look forward to talking to you soon!

"Tamar housesat for us and looked after our cats while we were overseas for a 5 week holiday.

Tamar proved to be an experienced house-sitter, knowing what information to ask to keep the house and cats in order. We were in remote areas out of contact for up to two weeks at a time, but when we got back to Wi-Fi, we would always find an email from Tamar with photos of the cats to let us know all was going well.

We came home to two very happy cats and the house cleaner than we left it. We also had milk, bread and a few treats left for us. I would definitely recommend Tamar as a house and pet sitter and will use her again next holiday".

Tamar instantly won the love of our rather timid, stand-offish Siamese cat Timmy. He took to her immediately.
We found Tamar easy to relate to and communicate with. When she came to meet us prior to the house sit, she asked very pertinent questions about things we had not thought of, which was very helpful.

"We were introduced to Tamar though a mutual friend and after she came to meet our two cats for the first time, we felt confident in leaving her to look after our house and cats for extended periods. Both our cats can be wary of strangers, but they let Tamar pat them straight away when she came to meet us for the first time.

Tamar has stayed on a number of occasions over the past year, looking after the cats whilst we were on holidays and we always come back to a tidy and clean home with the sheets and towels having been changed for us.

We have found Tamar to be reliable and take good care of both our apartment and beloved animals. One of our cats had an operation, which necessitated hand feeding her a special diet and Tamar did not hesitate to take on the added responsibility.
