We are energetic retirees who look forward to future housesits throughout Tasmania. We will care for your animals, do gardening & any other ad hoc jobs required while you have a wonderful break. Non smokers, tidy, responsible, & trustworthy.
We are travelling around Tasmania for the foreseeable future with our 7yo female Kelpie, all the way from Perth WA.

It was such a pleasure to mind 2 adorable dogs (Honey & Winston) who just loved cuddles, short walks & playing with our Kelpie girl Jess (who eventually became acquainted with Milo the cat). A beautiful house in a fantastic location -walking distance to pristine beaches - on private acreage. Thank you Amy & Tim for giving us the opportunity to stay in paradise 🙏 ❤️ .

“Karen and Derek are a delightful couple who very competently looked after my house, dog and menagerie while I was away recently. The garden was well watered and looked after, the animals well fed and attended to and the house was actually cleaner when I got back than when I left it! They are both helpful people who pitch in and do what is needed. Derek really took a mother hen under his wing when she hatched two chickens in a very unlikely spot and I certainly appreciated his mulching of the branches as well. Jess the kelpie is a gentle, well trained dog who gets along with other animals and was a wonderful playmate for my dog Nellie. I confidently recommend Karen, Derek and Jess to look after anyone’s house, garden and animals and I would happily have them back to stay anytime! Many thanks! 😊🙏🏻”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better house and dog sitter. My home was absolutely spotless when I returned, and it was clear everything had been very well cared for. Communication was excellent throughout my time away, and I received lots of photos. They were also incredibly flexible and understanding when my flight was cancelled and I had to extend my trip by an extra day, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Most importantly, Clover was so happy and clearly well looked after. She became great friends with their dog, Jess, which was lovely to see. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible sitter. ”
