Hello There,

I'm seeking house sits in the Hobart area, preferably longer or medium term, and some short term stays.

I'm a mature, semi retired teacher, studying part time, who is moving interstate and wanting to settle in Hobart and looking forward to a house sit in pleasant surroundings. I am an experienced house sitter with excellent professional and personal references to share with you, including a current Justice Department Good Character check and so offer you quality responsibility with integrity and nurturing care . I am open to having a written agreement with you, if this is your requirement, to meet your needs and I will be easily contactable while you’re away. I’ve been a home- owner for over thirty- five years and a renter for five years with good references, I have always taken great pride in all my homes.

I would like to take up a temporary guardianship of your home in your absence, so you may travel with peace of mind, while I respectfully love and
take care of things for you. I love yoga, the outdoors, walking and nature, including gardening. So I'm happy to lovingly tend to your plants, garden and most importantly treasure your pets as the 'good shepherd' whether they be finned, furred or feathered. I have been a pet owner of dogs, cats, birds and fish for many years as my two sons were growing up and have loved their company. I understand the trust and vulnerability required to allow others to care for your very much loved animal family members. So of course I look forward to getting to know your pets, loving them like they were my own, relating with their individual personalities, discovering their habitual rituals and fitting in with their particular routines, providing cuddles and lots of chatter.

I am responsible, trustworthy, young at heart, vegan/vegetarian who neither smokes nor drinks alcohol and I'm fit and healthy. Tasmania's seasons, nature’s beauty, culture, creativity, diversity, choirs, dance and adventure possibilities all draw me to settle here in Hobart.
