Hello, I'm so glad you've stopped in to read my profile.

I'm a reliable, trustworthy, intelligent, 40 something female who would love the opportunity to take of your home and pets.

I grew up on a farm in New Zealand and have owned pets and managed life stock through out my life. I'm great at cuddling cats, walking dogs, exercising horses, herding live stock, feeding the chickens, nursing guinea pigs …. you name it I've probably done it. Furthermore, as an empathetic and practical person I am particularly good with “special needs” animals – for example, those that may need medicine or particular cleaning care.

I am a non smoker and, having worked in the hotel industry, have extensive experienced in house keeping and maintaining properties to a high standard. I've looked after a number of places – primarily for family and friends so am familiar with the drill of checking the locks, collecting mail, mowing lawns, making sure the pool filter-pump is working, taking the rubbish bins out, looking after gardens and being friendly with the neighbours.

I have a PhD in Molecular Epidemiology (how diseases spread) and have spent the last 15 years researching in various countries, my last post was 3 years at the Walter Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne and so am very familiar with Melbourne.

I am more than happy to provide you with a police check and references
