More information about this house sitter

I am a professional in my 50s. I run my own publishing and creative design business, and am currently dividing my time between New Zealand and Australia, undertaking housesitting positions in both countries.

I have raised my own family, and in the same way they are now off pursuing their dreams, I am happily pursuing mine.

As a photographer and writer I relish the opportunity to travel and experience new regions and landscapes, and (albeit temporarily) new communities. I also appreciate the opportunity to spend periods of time close to family and friends spread the length and breadth of both New Zealand and Australia.

My recent housesitting positions have included minding a new build home (including dealing with a few tradespeople), and an eco-house with a bed and breakfast operation attached to it.

I understand that our homes are precious, sacred places and I am fully respectful of that. I am mature, reliable, conscientious, house-proud and good at communicating with clients when required during their absence.

I do not own a pet, but have looked after cats and fish for others. I am equally happy to collect mail, tend to gardens, or just provide a reassuring presence during your own absence.
