More information about this house sitter

***We are currently house sitting in Forest Lakes until 27 November. We are available the first few weeks of December and can locate anywhere around BNE and GC.
We will be travelling to visit family in Sydney and Fiji over the Christmas period. Available to house sit again from the first week of January - dates are flexible at this stage***

Alana has been living in SEQ for almost 6 years, originally from Sydney. I run my own consulting company working on various projects across the sport and recreation industry - consulting to government and sporting organisations. I typically work at home. Between now and the end of 2016 I am preparing to get back into the university sector in a lecturing/research position - which means I am often home during the day reading and writing - with plenty of opportunities to keep pets company and go for walks.
I spent much of my Honours year - almost 10 years ago - house sitting in Sydney which enabled me to live close to my uni while studying full time. I enjoyed looking after people's pets, gardens, and even looked after one family's business admin while they were overseas for several months.

Saula works for a construction company on the south side of Brisbane and plays rugby and touch throughout the week. He loves being active using his big Fijian muscles :) and is handy when it comes to mowing the lawn and keeping things tidy around the house.

We have rented in Brisbane together for 2 years, once in an apartment in Clayfield and most recently in a 3 bedroom house in Hendra. Both properties have been kept to a high standard, with bonds in tact.
We are working to save for our first home together and will be basing ourselves with Alana's grandmother on the Gold Coast for the next 6 months.
We think house sitting will give us a great opportunity to see a bit more of SEQ, save some money and provide some little breaks of our own space to sustain living with Nanna :)
