More information about this house sitter

I am currently at that stage in my life where the desire to travel, and experience the wonders of this world, heavily outweigh the option of remaining at home in "tropical" Scotland, continuing on with life as I know it. My partner, Scott, and I have made the exciting decision, as of May '18, to spend 12 months in Asia/Oceania, kicking off with a few weeks in India, followed by a month in Indonesia and then onto Australia!

Despite being an excellent team, and having spent 3 wonderful years together, Scott and I are somewhat different when it comes to our hobbies and interests. Yes, together we love to travel, cook, and devour novels, however, individually his passions are music, writing (currently in the process of penning his first novel) and fitness; whereas my life - apart from Scott & traveling - revolves around my family, friends and my infatuation of animals. Having grown up in a house with 2 cats, 2 dogs, 3 rabbits and 1 hamster, as well as spending consecutive summers working in a rescue home for abandoned pets, I am no stranger to caring for animals.

With regard to the art of house sitting... last Summer Scott left me to look after a property in the south of France for 2 months. Thank goodness for Skype! Read more...
