Hello,

We are Alex and Zac, young professionals based in Wellington, New Zealand, that are traveling and working remotely while exploring Australia. We are open to any opportunities and look forward to meeting you and your pets 🙂


AVAILABLE DATES
We are available for house-sitting from early April until mid May 2023. Please message us for our availability.

WHO WE ARE
Alex studied Ecology and Biodiversity at University, she is a keen gardner and in her spare time she volunteers with a local community group, monitoring trap lines for rats.
Zac studied Architecture and for the last 18 months has been renovating our coastal home. A big sports fan, Zac is a Carlton and Sydney Roosters supporter. Also a big fan of the NBA and likes to road cycle.
We are both non-smokers, fully vaccinated and boosted.

WORKING / PROFESSIONAL LIFE
Zac works for a New Zealand Architecture firm Designgroup Stapleton Elliott. While we are in Australia, Zac will work remotely and will be around the house to take care of pets throughout the day.
While we are in Australia, Alex will look for casual hospitality work in the local area. Formerly, Alex worked for the New Zealand Government in Biosecurity, writing trade import requirements.

PET SITTING EXPERIENCE
We both grew up with multiple pets and are confident that we have the skills to care for a range of animals. We have specific experience with cats, dogs (small to medium), rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small household pets. Alex has spent a summer volunteering at the Wellington Bird Rehabilitation Center, gaining skills with many species of birds and animal medication.

HOME MAINTENANCE
We have recently purchased and renovated our first home. We understand the care, maintenance and responsibility required to look after a home and pets.
