Trish and Allen are a couple of non-smoking retirees living on a 200 acre co-operative property in Apollo Bay firstly running sheep and now cattle.
Since retiring here from our typesetting/publishing business in Melbourne we have managed the property, but have now decided we would like to become a couple of grey nomads.
Since retiring to the Bay we have been active in the community having shared in the editing of the 20pp weekly Apollo Bay News and part of the annual Music Festival committee for 10 years. Allen was a hospital Board Member for five years and also shared in the establishment of a local community radio station. We jointly initiated the establishment of the local Bendigo Community Bank as both chair and company secretary respectively. We are both pennant bowlers and Allen plays golf. So we have had a busy retirement and have now decided to take some time off for a bit of travel.
We are both very practical and quite responsible, and Trish is a meticulous house keeper. We enjoy meeting and interacting with other people and would give your pets, garden and house all the attention they deserve.
We have had many dogs and cats over the years, and sadly just recently buried our much loved 13 year old Labrador.
As we are relatively new chums on the block we can only supply a couple of references at this point, but assure you we are two quite responsible people. We were both required to complete police checks for the Bank and Allen also for the Hospital Board.
