More information about this house sitter

I am a 22 year old single female with a year old yellow (or tan if you fancy) Husky x Staffy called Odin.
I am currently living in Mackay, QLD but am looking to relocate to the Sunshine Coast and am seeking expressions of interest for houses requiring a sitter in this area or within around about an hour of Sunshine Coast CBD for up to a two month period at this point, possibility of longer!

I am hoping to slowly travel around Australia while studying and house sitting. Currently looking for sits in: Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Surrounds starting at the end of this month and then moving onto NSW and ACT - would LOVE somewhere in the ACT for the Winter. If this sounds like you and your property or you would just love to see ne sit for you, please contact me ASAP as I am receiving expressions of interest quite steadily since joining and would hate for anyone to miss out!

I have a lot of experience with most domestic animals and have previously house sat for dogs with special dietary needs and medication. I have some previous farm experience from my youth (I may be 22 but some times I feel like a grey nomad!) that included sheep and fencing. I have a RAV4 so I would not need use of a vehicle to get around your property or town. I DON'T have an RV or Caravan though, so I will need housing quarters supplied.

While travelling, I am planning on studying Law and business online, while blogging and YouTubing about my experiences (so I would be perfect for anyone who markets Farm Stays, tours or has any other sort of business as I could feature this in my social media profiles - however, if this makes you uncomfortable, I will do not have to do so). I would possibly look getting a part time job or offering my services to the town.

I am an in-store trained make up artist proficient in all styles of event make up which is a skill that travels well! I also have financial and social skills and will be looking into Interview Prepping, Resume building and possibly some style of life coaching. I would acquire an ABN and travel to clients if it your preference not to have visitors, otherwise I will ensure I have the correct insurances.

I will happily walk your pet as required and keep you updated however often you like, as I know I miss Odin when I'm away!

Some of my greatest achievements to date are:
Being selected to attend Future Leadership training for my last employer
Gaining 100% on a Customer Service Mystery Shop as Assistant Manager of Accesory store at 18
Running the Mackay Crazy John's store at 19
Completing brides maids, event and photography style make up applications to Napoleons Perdis standard every time

A bit about my personality? Well, I'm an ENTJ - if you believe in that stuff! I love to read and will most likely be taking my books with me - books and clothes, nothing else! I do enjoy a night out every six or so months, so for long stays it would be good to have the ability to stay a night in town every few months (I'm not exaggerating, most of my CBD trips would be day time!). My plan is to eventually buy a portable home and keep leading a gypsy life until I find the perfect place to buy land and start an alpaca farm. I am extremely bubbly and energetic and have not met an animal that doesn't like me yet!I am in the process of getting a letter of reference from my last home owner and current real estate. I am also extremely happy to Skype, FaceTime or whatever is the best means of communication for you so you can get a better feel for my character!

Before I head down the coast on the 25th of April (tentative date at this point) I am planning on getting experience with live stock, horses and general farming. I will ensure I get my proficiencies signed off by the farm manager.

If you have any projects around the house or on the land that you would like doing, please let me know and I will see if it is within my capabilities. For example, I wouldn't mind painting walls, setting up a herb garden or veggie patch, setting up a rock garden or aquarium! I love to keep busy and add to my list of experiences.

I look forward to hearing from you!
