I am a 43 year old single father of two beautiful primary school age children who are with me every second week. I have just purchased a home but due to it having tenants in it until at least early April 2018, we can't move in straight away.

At the same time, my current 14-month fixed-term lease expires in late January 2018 with the owner returning from overseas to reoccupy her home. My belongings are being moved into storage until we can occupy our new home, so I am looking for a furnished short-term lease or perhaps a series of back-to-back house sits to give us a home in the meantime.

I am new to short-term house sitting, but excellent references can be provided if required, including from a number of different property managers.

My children and I love animals, especially my daughter who seems destined to become a Veterinarian. Your pets will be in very safe and caring hands, and there will be no shortage of volunteers to walk them if required. I'm hoping that we can help you out and care for your pets in return for helping us out with a short term home.
