More information about this house sitter

Due to unexpected family commitments we will not be available for house sits until late March 2106.

Andrew is a semi-retired IT consultant and Margaret is a retired accountant. We are animal lovers, gardeners, non-smokers and we like to relax with a glass of wine in the evenings.

Over the years we have owned three rescue dogs - two large energetic labrador crosses and a doberman - and a cat. We will happily look after your pets if they need special care. We also regularly "dogsit" Margaret's family's border collie who loves exercise and walks.

We have both worked in senior management positions over many years. Margaret managed a large staff handling large amounts of cash in a major public health service in NSW for over 30 years. Andrew has worked as a senior project and portfolio manager in IT, and now works part-time, mostly from home.

We are volunteer members of the NSW Rural Fire Service and in that capacity we both have a Criminal Record Check. Andrew also has a recent Working With Children Check.

As Andrew works from home a good deal an Internet connection is desirable if he has work on at the time. We will bring our own laptop.

This is our first time doing this, so for now our references will have to be from professional colleagues rather than homeowners. We hope that we can soon build our reputation as reliable, caring and trustworthy housesitters. Read more...
