We are an active couple who have finished raising 5 amazing children on acres out of town and love the rural lifestyle. Our youngest finished school so we took our own gap year (for 3 years), and now have settled back into grandparenting and using Mindahome for getaways when we can.

We have been serving others during our 36 years of marriage, and after a few years caring for elderly parents and travelling, we have returned to some work but still love travelling and enjoying time with friends far and wide.

We are non smokers and are pet free at the moment as our 15 year old Golden Retriever and two cats recently passed away. Over the course of raising our family we have cared for everything from chickens, guinea pigs, goats, geese, sheep, cattle and even a pony.

We both have rural / farm backgrounds, love gardening and have established new gardens in the last 2 places we have lived. We own our own home in Orange and have recently project managed renovating units to offer retreat accommodation with a mission organisation. We have management and hospitality experience providing a high level of customer service to guests.

Andrew has been in ministry for the last 12 years whilst also working part time as a gardner / landscaper and caring for NDIS clients.

Sonya is a Food Technology teacher, who has been teaching hospitality for many years, plus operating a coffee shop for training students, and enjoys catering.

In the past we have offered free accommodation out of our home at an high standard. We have taken great pride in making our homes welcoming and attractive to others, and you can be assured we would look after your special place with the same love and care that we would look after ours.
