I'm an animal and book lover, non-smoker, researcher who splits her time between family and friends in Perth and Canberra. I've travelled a lot, spending time staying in Airbnbs so I am used to adapting to a new environment and looking after other peoples' homes.

I've loved caring for cats and dogs since I was a child. I've always had a cat but since my last one departed, I've decided to be a bit more mobile. My favourite dog to look after during house sitting was an old Maltese X named Honey who often sat at my feet while I was reading a book or writing. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy the company of plants.
