Hello, my name is Sophie. I am avid traveller and recently left my job to go (back) to travelling again. I recently completed a solo roadtrip to the Daintree (north Qld) which sparked my desire to continue travelling. I am looking for house sits in Brisbane & Goldcoast, Australia.

In my spare time you'll find me outdoors hiking or swimming or indoors drawing, reading or doing yoga. My interests include animals, travel, movies (horror, comedy and fantasy) and art.

I hold a bachelor of counselling degree and have been in the helping industry for 5 years. My last job I worked in youth mental health and this is something I am very passionate about.

I adore animals so much that I volunteer my time whenever I go travelling. Even when I worked full-time I volunteered at my local animal rescue. I am confident in walking dogs, administering medication, transporting them to vet/beach/parks, giving them lots of pats and cuddles or leaving them alone if that's what they prefer! I have had other pets including Guinea pigs, mice, snakes and fish.
I am able to provide basic needs to cat and have nursed many kittens back to health overseas. I am vegan however, do not have issues with preparing meat for animals. I do not smoke or drink alcohol and consider myself a homebody. I can care for gardens and love being in nature.
