Hello!
My name is Karen, I'm a retired primary teacher living near the beach on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. My favourite destination is Melbourne at any time. I do not wish to go anywhere else.
I'm a happy, active and outgoing person who loves meeting new people and exploring new places.
I'm an animal lover and have always had pets in my life however at the moment I'm without a four-legged friend.
My two old dogs, Albert and Millie were with me for many years so I miss them now that they're no longer around.
I can proudly say I've been supporting 'Animals Australia' for many years and have been a 'Wildlife Rescue' support person. I am also a member of the 'Koala Crusaders' group here on the coast.
Can't bear to see any animal suffer.

I'm a very clean and tidy person so you would have no concerns about lack of respect for your home and garden, I would treat it as my own.
I enjoy being in the garden and have a lovely garden at my own house so watering plants and cutting the grass would not be a problem.
I'm also very security conscious and I'm a non smoker.
I've been managing my son's Airbnb apartment for the last few years and so have a personal understanding of having guests in your own home.
I am also a seasoned home exchanger having exchanged within Australia and in Europe.

I respect your privacy and your rights as a home owner thus do not have visitors in your house. I would feel this way if you were staying in my home.
I would be at home most of the time apart from a few hours during the day sometimes and an occasional night out.
