We are a mature and reliable couple who absolutely LOVE animals, nature & travelling. We are non-smokers & physically active.

Kenyon is a multi-skilled tradesman with a passion for gardening, fixing things & animals. I have been professionally cleaning for the past few years, my last position was cleaning luxury self contained Apartments in Byron Bay NSW - I take great pride in my work! In 2014 we lived in Melbourne starting with a 7 week housesit caring for 3 dogs. I also volunteered 2 days a week in the dog shelter at Burwood RSPCA. My position involved walking the shelter dogs and also caring for mistreated puppy farm dogs. During that time I traveled to Peru for 2 months to volunteer in a dog shelter in Cusco. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. We are both very house proud and maintain a high standard of care - we will look after your home and animals as if they were our own!!

We understand that the care of your pets, the garden and the day-to-day upkeep of your home is extremely important as we have been in your position needing a caring person to look after our dog & home while we travelled overseas on three occasions. So we have first hand experience of what is required from a house sitter!

We have both always had pets - dogs, cats and other small animals such as fish, birds, mice & guinea pigs. Kenyon grew up on a small farm & attended to their horses, cows & chickens as part of his daily routine. Our beloved dog of 14 years sadly passed away 4 years ago and we decided no more pets for a while as we wanted the freedom to travel - and travel we have! Nine months in Sth America 2012, 2 months in Peru 2014 and 11 months traveling through Mexico and Central America 2015/16. During that time we volunteered in an Animal Rescue centre in Costa Rica for 2 weeks, preparing food, cleaning cages and our favourite job, babysitting sloths, Marmosets, Kinkajous & Capuchin monkeys. It was a dream come true for both of us!! We both miss having pets around us and have been house/pet sitting & dog walking since we returned to Australia in 2013. We would like to combine our love of travel with our love of animals & believe house sitting, along with volunteering here & overseas, will enable us to fulfil both passions. We have referees available from previous house sits who are happy to be contacted.
