Hi! We are Hannah and Niall, a respectful, animal-loving couple with a great deal of experience house and petsitting. We are professionals running online businesses which allow us to work from any location. We are currently living in Perth and have decided to housesit locally to a) give ourselves some much longed for animal time, and b) to explore different parts of Perth. We are not quite ready to commit to our own pet as we hope to continue travelling in the future.

In terms of our experience, we have house/pet-sat all over Europe and the UK (having recently lived there for 2.5 years). We have looked after dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, and chickens of every age and health level, including rescues and animals with serious and complicated health regimens. During our time pet and housesitting, we strived to make sure every pet/home owner returned to happy and healthy pets and clean and well-maintained properties, with some extra touches. We have included some reviews from previous housesits on different sites from homeowners as a post script - we have stayed in touch with many so if you should need to speak to anybody we can furnish you with more info. As homeowners ourselves we understand that peace of mind when you are away is paramount.

We are kind, honest and will do our best to ensure you feel your pets and home are given star treatment while you are away. We love the outdoors and nature and will make sure any gardening and odd-jobs are taken care of. Also, Hannah is an artist and we have made it a trend to leave our pet-owners a little gift of a bespoke pet portrait wherever we are lucky enough to stay. :)

We have a gorgeous, intelligent, and gentle 3-year-old boy, named Leo. We understand that some may have reservations about having a young child in the house/ around animals, so we wanted to assure you that Leo is a particularly caring and well-behaved boy. He has been introduced to pets from an early age; he loves animals and understands how to be gentle with them. He regularly spends time with his auntie’s malamute and his uncle’s marmalade cat. If it would put your mind at ease to see Leo interact with your pet/s, we’d be happy to facilitate this. We’d also be happy to discuss a bond - we are certain that Leo will not cause any damage to your property, but we understand that accidents happen.

We see looking after pets and homes as a beautiful privilege and hope to be in touch soon!

“Hannah and Niall took care of our home and Shadow, our border collie, for 2 months in Dec/Jan 2019-20. They were great carers for both. The house was tidy and organised on our return; they consulted us when a couple of maintenance issues came up, then dealt with them efficiently and promptly; they took the trouble to change all the bedsheets before our return, even on beds that hadn't been used. And they cooked a meal and fed us through our jetlag. Shadow had clearly loved having them around; he was fit and healthy and bouncy when we got back, and was obviously close to Hannah and Niall. They had given him plenty of exercise and plenty of love, and had kept us in regular touch about him. And, as a parting gift, they presented us with a really high-class watercolour portrait of him, which captures his personality beautifully. “Hannah and her husband looked after our house and two cats for us whilst we were away in the UK. They were the most charming couple, so very helpful to us and were very helpful to us as well as our cats. We even had a viewing of our house whilst we were away and I had feed back from the agent that the house was perfect, the outside, the leaves were swept, coffee on the boil and scented candles. Alas after all that effort the prospective buyers loved the house but it was too big. So a huge thank you to them both for making this huge effort outside of just house sitting. I would welcome them back at any time.“
