Hello! My name is Jonathan and, together with my partner Lotta, we would love to care for your home (and your pets, if you have them) while you are away.

I am 31, originally from the UK, and moved to Australia in 2016. I first lived in Melbourne for five years, then the Gold Coast, and I now call the Sunshine Coast home. I am a permanent resident and my citizenship application is in the final stages. For most of my time in Australia I worked as a restaurant and café manager, so I am used to keeping everything spotless, organised and running smoothly.

Lotta is also 31 and is from Finland. We met online while we were both travelling in Japan. The timing did not work for meeting there, so I flew 30 hours to Europe for our first date. Crazy hey? haha we spent the next 52 days together and have been inseparable ever since.

We are vegan/vegetarian, non-smokers and do not drink alcohol. We are huge animal lovers: we grew up with dogs, have lived with cats for the past few years and are very comfortable with all kinds of pets. If you have animals, they will get plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles, and we are happy to follow specific routines, give medication or send daily updates. If you have no pets, your houseplants, garden and home will still receive the same careful attention.

We are active, outdoorsy people who enjoy cooking healthy meals and keeping everything clean and tidy. I recently ran my first half-marathon in Noosa and am currently training for my next race in Helsinki in 2026, so morning walks or runs with energetic dogs suit us perfectly.

We both work flexibly, mostly remotely. I now run my own wedding and travel photography business alongside brand work and hold a degree in Business and Management. Lotta works in communications while growing her own creative business in the art and music industry (she is currently learning her fifth language) and has a Master’s degree in Sustainability. We are therefore well-placed to look after gardens, pools, plants or any eco-friendly home systems.

We are available for sits anywhere in Australia and can definitely jump a video call before you confirm anything if required.

Your home will be respected and secure, and any pets (or plants) will be genuinely loved.
