More information about this house sitter

We are a young professional in our early 30s who loves travel and animals. We are currently Canberra-based, but I am transferring to Hobart in June/July 2018 with my job as a federal public servant, so are available to house and/or pet-sit while we look for a place of our own. My partner Andrew is studying postgrad psychology, and will be looking for work in Hobart as a mental health professional.

We have each grown up with animals and would love to have a house full of pets, but have held off due to my work taking us overseas. Instead, we’ve fostered and rehomed kittens and been cat- and dog-sitting for friends and colleagues to get my fix. So we are more than happy to care for your pets - the more, the better! We’re also happy to water plants and do any odds and ends that might need tending to while you're away, stock up the fridge before you return, etc.

We are homeowners ourselves, with a house in Launceston that is currently rented out. We have rented numerous properties in the past, and as my references (available on request) show, have looked after them meticulously.
