We are an honest, reliable, mature, married (25 years) couple who having lost our own beautiful dog in 2021 really miss the interaction and joy pets bring to our lives. We would absolutely love to care for your animals and home and would consider it an honour to be trusted with your precious fur children.

We understand that pets are family and that knowing they are in safe, caring hands during your absence is paramount. We love all animals, however most of our experience has been with dogs. Our own dog being a kelpie x, the working dog breeds hold a special place in our hearts, however we have minded many different breeds in our own home, with our own dog, over the years. Initially starting out as just a favour, word of mouth coupled with a demand for a personalised pet minding service, led to a small venture. Many of our furry friends were regulars and enjoyed repeat sleepovers. It was a great experience and heaps of fun.

We know that all animals have different personalities and requirements. Consequently we would be happy to accommodate your pet’s usual routine and favourite activities whether it be a ball game, brisk walk, leisurely stroll, or just chilling at home. All with lots of pats of course! We are also happy to administer basic medication, eye drops etc. Our own dog was vision impaired, being diagnosed with a genetic eye disease gradually resulting in complete blindness, so we have some experience with individual needs. We also love older pets and think them extra special.

Your pets will be treated with love, care and respect as will be your home. We will leave your home as we find it. We are very clean, tidy and capable around the house and will ensure your garden is maintained and watered. We will be the only guests on your property and will not invite any other people to your home during our stay.

A little about us….
We are retired, non-smokers and fully vaccinated + flu vax. We own our own home of 20 years in northern NSW, which we designed, built and recently extended. We live in our own home full time and are not itinerant travellers. We are not party people and prefer to spend most evenings watching tv, a movie, or reading. Keith has recently retired from working as a bus driver (same company 33 years). He has a 45 year professional driving record and was awarded Surfside Buslines (now Kinetic) Driver of the Year in 2017. Anne has been a stay at home dog mum since selling a small printing/graphics business (owner/operator 20 years) and retiring 15 years ago. We are healthy, active and good communicators. We love travelling, exploring new places and getting to know the local community. Nothing beats a good road trip and we look forward to seeing more of our beautiful country. We also enjoy nature and the outdoors, music, creative hobbies and collecting. We regularly help out our immediate neighbours with garden, mail etc in their absence as they travel extensively. We have also cared for neighbourhood friends pets, being already familiar with their animals.
Keith holds a NSW heavy vehicle driver’s licence and Qld Bus Driver Authority (NSW Authority up until May 2022 not being renewed as will not be working again) which includes a NSW and Qld Police Check and a Working with Children Check.
As we don't like to be away from our own home for lengthy time periods, we prefer shorter housesits.
