We are a married couple in our mid-thirties, full-time working Real Estate and IT professionals, and huge animal (especially dog) lovers (and non-smokers). We regularly sit our friends' dogs/houses when they go away and are registered and accredited Victorian Dog Rescue, RSPCA and Greyhound Safety Net Foster Carers.
Before moving to Australia and into a Melbourne apartment, Annemie had a much loved Akita Inu at her family home in Germany, which gave her the experience to handle and train large, strong, highly intelligent and demanding dogs. Since becoming sitters and foster carers as a couple, we've had experience with rabbits, cats and various dog breeds, big and small.
We are a power couple who love to get out into nature, be active and do long walks (with a favourite being the dog beach).
The main reason we've signed up for house/pet sitting is to get out of our apartment for a weekend (or longer) plus some pet cuddles, as we are awaiting to buy a house and get our own pet(s). We also love to complete projects around the house and keep things nice and tidy. We will help out wherever we can, are very reliable and have an SUV, so we can give your pet a lift if required.
