More information about this house sitter

Hi.. We are Anni & Tony, both British and born near London but Anni has Australian citizenship. Having lived in France for some years we have now sold up and are ready for our next move.

We completed a housesit in Brisbane in March 2016 for 2 georgeous Devon Rex cats. We have another arranged for the UK during February and March 2018. We have also just confirmed a house sit near Geelong VIC between 22nd June to 23rd September 2018

We are planning travel to Auss sometime late April 2018 for 12 months so the start date is a little flexible.

We are looking for a sit between the start of May and Mid June and then from October 2018.
Between us we are experienced and previous owners of dogs, cats and horses - Anni started out in Buckingham with an equine career followed by secretarial work in the UK and Auss - I was also involved with obedience trialing for a short time. We have owned different breeds including Border Collies, G. Shepherds and not least a Bolognese (small rare breed from Italy) and several felines, the last cat Katie reaching the age of 19 years and Anni has bred Devon Rex and owned Siamese. Over the years we have had some great personalities including a horse that played tag, cats that fetched like dogs, a siamese that used the front door knocker to come in and the Bolognese - a unique experience all personality!

As Tony is a retired UK police officer many owners are relieved to rely on someone of good character and high standards. He is also very adaptable and practical in dealing with general house issues or emergencies.. We both have high standards of care in looking after your home. If any gardening is required - no problem there too. We had a large property in France with a paddock and gardens. Anni previously lived in Australia for 10 years and is very familiar with the way of life there so we both returned in 2016 for 2 months to investigate living once again in Auss. We are returning for a longer period to have a closer look at where to live. I feel we both have a good empathy with animals especially as Tony has taken in rescue cats and Anni's experience with horses extended beyond the average rider's regarding horse psychology which translates to a lot of domesticated breeds. As a teenager I was apprenticed in a 3 day event yard handling calves, milking cows along side the equestrian training.

When we are eventually settled again in our own house we hope to provide respite for rescue dogs and cats.

We are more than happy to video chat via Messenger as a first base to decision making and reassurance. ... and providing contact with the owners pet whilst sitting.
We can provide recent UK police checks if required and are open to providing answers to all queries.
