Available from 8 September 2025 and prefer at a minimum a one month stay but would love much longer. Accustomed to looking after large numbers of animals. I'm handy and resourceful. I am 58, Australian, have lived and worked remotely for the last 9 years across the NT, QLD & NSW, sole caretaker on cattle stations over the wet and have been an all-rounder in the outback. I’m a practical thinker and create solutions should problems arise. I left the rat race after 20+ years in marketing and administration for the great outdoors.

I am house-proud, and a passionate gardener and cook and a lover of all animals. I have cared for cattle, horses, pigs, working dogs, domestic dogs and cats, birds, blue tongue lizards, bottle fed poddies and roos and have even looked after an Emu. I’m switched on with feeding routines, rugging and unrugging horses, wash downs, mucking stables, feeding out cattle and rotating stock between paddocks on an ATV.

I can drive a tractor, check troughs, fix fences and manicure lawns with a zero-turn mower, I weed, prune, maintain gardens, pots and indoor plants and love growing veggies too.

I have excellent references and anything from a month long stay to longterm would be fantastic.

A lover of the outdoors I’d be super happy to have a garden/gardens to nurture during my stay.

I work remotely on my laptop (always need more) and appreciate extra paid work too, should there be something local to your property. I’ve been a station cook and have pulled beers.

If I had a wish it would be to live in a little cottage overlooking a dam, working outdoors, animals galore and a longterm caretaker position surrounded by nature!

I love to cook and enjoy a wine with my meal. I own a reliable 4WD.
