Hello there,

Thank you so much for taking the time to browse through my portfolio.

My name is Beatrice, Bea to my friends. I recently retired after more than 20 years in the diplomatic corps and travelling the world.

I own my home in Mandurah, Western Australia and until recently lived with my 20-year old daughter, who is currently studying for her Midwifery Degree at Murdoch University. Like most 20-year olds (going on 35), she has decided to move on Compass. so I have decided to make the most of this new liberating phase of life - empty nesting, by travelling and exploring the different areas of Australia.

When I am not travelling , I am spending my leisure time doing volunteer work or pretending to be a Mosaic artist! When I am not playing Picasso, I am cuddling up to my ridiculously spoilt Maltese named “Tipsy” or my two Cats - both rescued when they were kittens.

I am also meticulously clean, which drives some of my girlfriends insane - I don’t know why!

I am a keen gardener too. I would enjoy pottering around your garden if that’s ok with you. I promise not to drown your pot plants. Yeah, I get carried away sometimes😆

I recently completed two home sits in Queensland. One on a three acre property in Logan Village where I spent 13 days hanging out with Lucy, the couple’s adorable rag doll. The second sit was in Bulimba, where I spent another thirteen days playing hide and seek with Miss Lola the couple’s Burmese cat. It took only two days before she decided it was safe to cuddle up and watch Netflix with me!

I am Flexible on duration - Short or Long term. I also like to arrange a quick meet-and-greet (in person or online) before any stay to ensure we’re both comfortable.
