I am a youthful 63 year old male. I retired from the NSW Police Force in 2000, after 30 years service. The majority of my service was spent in the Campbelltown area, in uniform. I have four adult children who all reside in the Sydney area.

Presently, I am employed full-time as a porter at the Astral Hotel, which is located within The Star hotel/casino complex, Pyrmont. In addition to this I am also employed on a casual basis with Woolworths (BWS Liquor).

I own an investment property in Port Macquarie, on the NSW mid-north coast. For the past 12 months I have resided with each of my children for various periods of time.

Some years ago I did engage in housesitting on a couple of occasions and enjoyed the experience very much. On those occasions I minded an inner-city semi detached home with a small garden and two cats, and an old homestead like residence on a small block on Sydney's outskirts. Although no animals were involved in this placement I had to maintain an extensive garden (during a drought period). I am now eagerly looking forward to a return to housesitting.

A non-smoker, I would describe myself as hard-working, responsible, disciplined, truthful, honest and reliable. I am neat and tidy and respect the property of others. My previous employment has also left me with a good sense of humour. I am an animal lover and a different times I have owned both cats and a dog.
