Belinda & Andrew - active mature couple

We are an active, mature, non-smoking couple living in our own home in Black Rock, Victoria with our rescue kelpie Bonnie.

Belinda retired end 2021 after 7 years as a Veterinarian followed by 19 years at Johnson and Johnson . She now volunteers part time for a cat rescue organisation doing admin and fostering kittens as well as playing lots of golf and caring for our large garden. Andrew recently retired from his role as a contractor to the Federal Government. He is very handy and has done many renovations and upgrades to our homes. We both love animals and you can be sure your pets and homes will receive the best of care.

Our circumstances now allow us to do more travel. We have used house sitters ourselves in the past so thought we would pay it forward and help other people to leave home, feeling safe in the knowledge that their home and pets will be well loved and cared for.

We have been house sitting on and off for the last 4 years and you can see our reviews on this site as well as Aussiehousesitters & Trustedhousesitter.

We are very active and enjoy walking, running, cycling, swimming and surfing, so if your fur babies need exercise - no problems :-)

We live a quiet life so would spend a lot of time at your home keeping you pets company.

We plan to be in Northern NSW and Southern QLD between May and Sept every year.

We travel with our rescue kelpie Bonnie who is 11 years old and loves to sleep all day (after her morning walk). She is easy going and has been great with all the various dogs and cats we have cared for.
