More information about this house sitter

Benjamin (32), Casey (32) and Willem (3) are a small family based in Melbourne. Benjamin is a postgraduate research student in international relations at the University of Melbourne and Casey is a full-time visual artist, specialising in ink paintings. We are a healthy-living and non-smoking family, that love to travel, enjoy nature and the great outdoors, and getting active (exercising, hiking and exploring.)

In 2017, Benjamin is writing a thesis on Australia-Japan relations, and Casey is further developing her business and profile as an artist. This flexibility to work from any location will enable them to spend some time in Perth, where they both grew up and still have family and friends. Benjamin also plans to spend time helping in his family's business based in the Perth suburb of Wangara.

Benjamin and Casey have both grown up around dogs, with Benjamin's family home never having less than 2-3 dogs at a time, and Casey growing up with a mixture of cats, dogs and horses. They have both grown up on semi-rural properties, and Benjamin also spent childhood holidays on the family farm near Esperance, tending to sheep, lambs and farm dogs.

Together, they have had experience house-sitting in city apartments, suburban homes and rural farms, happily adapting to the tasks and responsibilities unique to each. Whether it is caring for pets or tending to gardens and swimming pools, they take pride in maintaining the houses and properties they are entrusted with, and caring for furry friends!
