We are originally from Slovenia. We moved to Australia to follow my dream to live on the beach and make movies! I am a cinematographer and Alenka is a pastry chef.

After five years of living in Melbourne, even though we loved it, we moved to QLD to experience this lifestyle too. It's only fair to compare when you've experienced both :)

We used to travel a lot when we lived in Europe, and we have seen a fair bit of the south and east coast of Au as well. We definitely want to experience more.

We feel like house sitting is a perfect opportunity for us to get settled in a new environment, so we don't spend our savings too quickly and do someone a favour of taking good care of their home.

We keep our own home extremely tidy. We are both ''zen minimalists''. We don't own much stuff, only what we really need and what brings purpose to our life. We like to keep things in order as that keeps our minds in order too.

We practice yoga and bodyweight exercise daily and eat a very clean and sustainable plant-based diet with occasional eggs and fish.

We love animals and we would love an opportunity to take care of them. We always felt owning one would limit our ability to travel, so taking care of your pets is a win-win! We did some cat sitting in Melbourne, and Alenka always had a dog back at home in Slovenia.

I don't mind useful physical exercise around the house like gardening and pool maintenance.
