Having worked across Queensland, New South and South Australia I've recently settled in Canberra working for the Bureau of Statistics.

When I moved to Canberra I found myself an older rescue dog named Summer, she is a Rough Collie (think Lassie) that is equal parts fur and lazing about.

Raised in the bush I'm more than comfortable looking after both animals and gardens. We had an Angora goat stud when I was younger and more recently I had a couple of small orchards with about 50 fruit trees (mostly apples and stone fruit) on my bush block in South East Queensland.

I've run a couple of antique stores, specialising in collectable glass and also worked as an exploration geologist in Western NSW for a couple of years.

I enjoy cooking (and eating) and have particular fun photographing nature, not that I'm very good for it.
