More information about this house sitter

We are 2 architects with 2 grown up daughters (17 & 24). We live in our own house on Scotland Island and own a hobby farm. Since we are letting our waterfront home during the holidays, we are looking for a house-sit in Sydney or close by, preferably Northern Beaches.
My husband has stopped working a few years ago due to the loss of his larynx and I run my own small design company. Our oldest daughter has just finished at ANU and will start work in March, while our youngest is looking forward to uni in the near future.
Although we don't have a dog, we love them and have had many bunnies over the years and currently have some chickens. Our youngest has done pet-sitting for neighbours in the past and both my husband and I have always taken great pride in our houses and gardens.
We are a normal family, don't smoke or drink, nor have any of us ever taken any drugs. We love walks on the beach, swimming, boating, gardening, reading and travelling.
During the last years we have extensively traveled through Europe, exploring parts we missed, when we grew up in Germany.
We would love to look after your house, garden and pets.
You are very welcome to visit us in our house to get a better impression, as it is a difficult decision to leave your house to strangers. We are in a somewhat similar situation.
We have enjoyed a successful house swap with a family in NZ a few years ago and it helped meeting them beforehand.
Our prefered dates for 2017/18 are: 22./23.12.- 5.1.18 or 16.1.18. Alternatively, a short sit from 24.1. would also suit. Thx, Andrea Read more...
