Hello, I’m Ebony 👋

I look forward to discussing your needs and exceeding your expectations as a home and/or pet sitter. Going away can be stressful, and my aim is to provide you with complete peace of mind while you’re away.

I’m 26 years old and have been on the Sunshine Coast for 3 years on and off. Previously I worked in Victoria, where I studied and worked as a teacher. Originally from Tasmania, I’m an active and outdoorsy person — you’ll often find me hiking local trails, exploring the coastline, surfing when conditions allow, or tucked away with a cup of tea on a rainy day. I also have a very soft spot for animals and will happily pat every dog that agrees to it. I do not smoke, vape, or drink alcohol.

I currently work from home as a developmental therapist, supporting young people via Zoom. This allows me to spend a lot of time at home, making me well placed to provide attentive, consistent care for your pets and property. My fiancé, Josh, works FIFO in the medical gas industry and if he is home, he would assist me in the sit.

I am easy-going, cooperative, respectful, kind, and light-hearted, and I place a strong emphasis on cleanliness, open communication, and trust. I have a strong eye for detail and take pride in maintaining homes to a high standard. With experience in animal care, house and garden upkeep, having grown up on a large property, and previously owning dogs, I am confident in adapting to individual routines and requirements.

I have my own vehicle, strong ties to the local community, and the flexibility to meet a range of location and care needs. I approach every sit with professionalism and transparency and am committed to providing holistic, agreed-upon care for some of the things you value most.

I am respectful of neighbours and always strive to maintain positive relationships with everyone involved. I take genuine pride in the responsibility that comes with caring for a home, garden, and furry family members, and I’m very happy to discuss specific expectations or routines prior to your time away.
