Hello! Welcome to my profile. My name is Amanda, and I was born and raised in Auckland. I decided to make the move to adventure in Australia after graduating from university last year (with a degree in Psychology and Education). I have been a full-time house sitter since July and enjoy the lifestyle, including traveling, exploring new places and meeting new people.

I'm an animal lover, a non-smoker and a person who is caring, reliable and responsible. I work from home as a freelance writer, and I enjoy helping others in any way that I can. I wish to give home owners peace of mind that their house and pets will be respected and well cared for, as if they were my own.

I have experience in taking care of cats, dogs and fish. I enjoy spending time with animals and giving them the attention and affection they desire. I would be happy to take your dog/s for a walk daily and to perform any other duties. I would be respectful of your neighbours and ensure that your house was returned to you in a nice, clean and tidy state. If you would like to know more, please feel free to ask me any questions.

"Amanda house sat my dog and cat for the period of a week in June/July My cat is very anxious and so required special treatment. My dog also required twice daily walks of 30 minutes each, morning and evening. We were in contact every day on how things were going and the state of the animals. I need not have worried about a thing. Amanda had everything quietly under control. When we arrived home, the animals were happy and healthy. In addition, the unit was spotless. My neighbours and I are a tight-knit group and they had no issues at all during the period I was away. I have previously used house sitters whilst on holidays and have found Amanda to be one of the best. I would have no hesitation in using Amanda again and have actually asked her if she was available for some dates in the future. " We had the pleasure of having Amanda look after our home and our two dogs for 3 weeks in October Out dogs could not be happier and were well cared for. Our neighbours reported how diligent Amanda was regarding security and respectful of noise and were pleased with our home being looked after. Amanda respected our need for communication regarding our dogs especially as Tara is a 15 years of old Kelpie. We returned to find our home well cared for and everything that we had communicated needed attention had been done. Most of all Amanda respected our privacy and I can assure you that she is to be trusted in your home. We would love to have Amanda return anytime as a visitor or a carer of our home."
