Hi there,

I'm a 34-year young professional, people and animal lover from Sweden who’s in Sydney, Australia to study, work and do online coaching. I've been doing house sitting full time since beginning of 2023 and I love it!

I've taken care of a variety of pets, ranging from dogs, cats, horses and one little baby goat. They’ve all been different individuals with different needs depending on breed, age, health status and personality. Apart from the pleasure of having animals around, my passion about people and interior design makes house sitting a wonderful lifestyle, as I get to explore the culture by connecting with locals and experience their home environments.

I grew up in an old town house in Malmö, Sweden and my family has always been home birds with an interest in pets, renovation projects and gardening. In my early years, we had a Rotweiler, then a cat and now my family has a 10 year old black Labrador who's my best friend. I've also done horse riding for around 12 years. To me, animals are a blessing to humanity, being unconditionally loving and genuine. In my 20’s before and between working professionally and completing my university degree, I’ve been living abroad many times, worked as a nanny and did Wwoofing for a bit, taking care of farm animals.

House owners, employers, colleagues and friends describe me as responsible, open, communicative and genuinely caring about all living creatures as well as highly dedicated about doing a good job. I have a patient, intuitive personality and understand the anxiety that might arise with animals while owners are away. Luckily most pets seem to attach to me and ease into the new situation quite quickly. I'm a non-smoker who cares for my own health as well as the health of animals. Since I’m not a party person, I enjoy meeting friends for outdoor activities or dinners at home.

I appreciate the trust to allow someone unknown into your home, I’m currently renting out mine in Sweden myself. I ensure I would look after your place as I would with my own. Being outgoing, solutions oriented and experienced with house sitting, I’m also confident I’d be able to manage any ad hoc situation that might arise. My online studies, coaching and part time work in retail offer flexibility to walk and cuddle with your pets also during daytime. It’s not a deal breaker, but if there’s an opportunity to use your car, that’s a huge plus for me and I’m happy to bring your fur babies to nature or beach excursions on days off.
