Hi there,
My name is Gisela and I’m Mum to two beautiful daughters who have both flown the nest recently. On my own now and semi-retired, I am looking for new life experiences.
I have successfully run a cleaning business for the last ten years, and I consider myself kind, respectful, caring and resourceful. I respect your privacy and will never enter parts of the house you deem to be private. I don’t smoke or party, instead I spend my evenings on the sofa cuddling the animals with a good book or movie.

I have always loved animals, had my own horse for some years, a beautiful Cavalier King Charles named Maddy who grew up with my girls and I looked after two gorgeous and cuddly Himalayan/Ragdoll cats Eloise and Winter who are my girls’ cats and left with them. I miss them all dearly. So you can be assured that your animals will get plenty of cuddles and be well cared for, as I’m fully aware that they miss you and need all the love they can get.

Looking after your plants or some gardening will be fun and I love the comfy feeling a looked after, clean and tidy home gives the person living there and I would not have it any other way for your home.

House sitting is not new to me as I am currently housesitting for a lovely client of mine until about mid August, looking after their house and garden but I’m new to mindahome. I have also had housesitters in my own home and know how it feels to hand the keys to your special place and your beloved animals over to someone else.

I am a practical person and as an ex-tour guide often had to be resourceful and think on my feet in all kind of life situations. If needed, I am happy to offer rides to and from the airport/train station. Also, I find good communication is really important and I will keep in touch while you are away.

So far, my references are mostly regarding cleaning and house responsibilities but you can be assured that I will have the same love and enthusiasm for your pets and home. My references will be emailed to you when I apply for your sit or on your request when you contact me. Police certificate can be supplied as well.

I am looking forward to my first housesitting on mindahome and continue this new chapter of my life.
