We are Grace & Samuel - living, working and studying in Brisbane. We live in a subdivided Qld'er owned by Grace's parents in Norman Park - Grace's brother lives in the adjacent unit. Having no pets or property of our own we are free to care for others' homes, pets and gardens (our favourite!). Sam has a background in Ecology and conservation and is currently working for Brisbane City Council - he is an all around handy-man and plant-person. Grace is completing her Masters in Teaching Secondary - mostly online - and works in office admin for a small Aborist services business. We are both avoid gardeners, animal lovers and before the pandemic we were travelling together working abroad. We regularly house sit for friends and family and so have decided to join Mindahome to see where else we might be able to caretake homes in the future. At this point in time change is as good as a holiday! As we are double vaccinated and have carers passes to visit family in the NSW 'border zone' we are also able to house sit in the Tweed, Muwillumbah and Numinbah areas of NSW. We are very clean and tidy - having both worked in guest services and hospitality roles previously we definitely have an eye for detail re: cleanliness. We can provide written references and referee contact details, vaccine certificates, police background checks and anything else that you might need to set your mind at ease when leaving your home to be cared for by others.
