Hello There! My name is Carmen. About me: I am warm, pro-active, reliable, grounded and generous amongst other delightful personality traits ;)
I am a great communicator with people and animals and love to spend time in the garden. The spaces that I look after are always kept clean, safe and feeling energetically clear.

I have house sat many times and also entered into more long term, formalised care-taking agreements in the past.
I regularly look after dogs when my friends leave town for periods of time and so understand deeply the needs and routines of different dogs.

I have practical handy person skills, having done renovations on my own house and many different types of gardens throughout my life.

I am from Wollongong but live in Alice Springs in the Central Australian Desert where I work in Community Development with the main Aboriginal Council in town and also work with watercolour artists on the Namatjira Project.

My personal interests are music, (particularly playing piano and singing); art; performance; ecology; ethics and gardening.

I go back to Wollongong semi-regularly to visit family and my elderly grandparents and have some coastal downtime away from the intensity of the desert.
