More information about this house sitter

Hello, I grew up in Hobart but have lived in Qld for the last 35 years. I came to Hobart in May 2015 on a 6 month house sit and decided to stay on. Have been housesitting ever since looking after various cats, dogs, chooks, goldfish and gardens. I am a single female, aged 53, non smoker, social drinker only, very quiet, responsible and reliable. I work from home as a legal transcriptionist so do need access to internet. Here is what some of my referees have to say:

Carol recently looked after my mother's home, 2 little dogs and 2 pet birds for 3 weeks. She was wonderful! Carol came with a positive attitude and happy demeanour. She is very honest and keen to please. The dogs loved and her and she them. She left the house far cleaner than she found it, and went way above and beyond our expectations of a housesitter. Mum & I would highly recommend Carol to look after your home and pets and would love to see her again.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Carol Lay for approximately forty years.
We first met as next door neighbour's in West Hobart. So I knew Carol's family too.
More recently Carol has been kind enough to house sit for us whilst we have been away on a caravan holiday.
We have two cats and a large house that need care and attention whilst we are away. Carol has undertaken these duties fantastically. She had gone out of her way on various occasions to handle any electricians, plumbers that have been required.
Forwards our mail and writes regularly like our own personal secretary. Gives us a really secure and confident feeling that our pets home and belongings are safe and secure.
Furthermore Carol is extremely clean and tidy. But above all honest!
We'd recommend her to any body who wants honesty cleanliness and reliability.

I have always known Carol’s little older dog Bella to be friendly. Bella is an absolute gem and is no trouble. Bella is well behaved, house trained, very quiet and gets along with all other animals. Carol has cared for other animals in her own home whilst their owners have been away. She has also house sat and cared for animals in the owner’s home. I have left my pet with Carol and Bella and would have no hesitation in leaving her with them again if the need arose.

We are extremely pleased with Carol as a house-sitter and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else.
Carol house-sat for us for a month. Carol looked after our dog and our home extremely well. She collected our mail, dealt with it as instructed and competently cared for our garden and plants. It was a pleasure to arrive back to a neat and tidy home and a happy and obedient dog.
We felt our home was in trustworthy and capable hands.
