More information about this house sitter

I am a retired teacher, bookseller and publisher, and widely experienced house-sitter. I absolutely love this lifestyle and have done many dozens of housesits throughout Victoria and all along the east coast of NSW and Canberra as a professional house-sitter. Many have been repeated gigs, as I enjoy getting to know much-loved animals, and I know the routine and responsibility of caring for and respecting people's homes.

I now live in South Australia.

I have my transport and am interested in sits of a minimum of one week. I'm a meticulous and quiet person and don't use alcohol, drugs, or tobacco; therefore, I'm only willing to sit homes of non-smokers.

As a cat and small dog lover, I have mostly cared for cats - however, I also have lots of experience with birds, chooks, ducks, and geese. I take care of your property and pets as if they were my own and ensure you return to a clean and tidy home and happy, relaxed pets. I've also quite often just cared for properties to have a presence there and collect mail and water gardens.

I enjoy youtube, and have quite a busy online profile and am an avid researcher, so fast and reliable wifi is essential.

I'm happy to talk with you via email and phone and if we gel to get the run-down and peculiarities of your pets and their needs and how your property operates.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I was fortunate enough to have Cedar house sit for me at Sandstone Point, Queensland for a 2 week period last year.

On my return, I found my home immaculate, gardens both inside and out were tidy and well-watered, my little rescue dog, Rosa was healthy, happy and she had formed a beautiful bond with Cedar. Because of her background pre rescue, Rosa has a lot of quirks and issues and definitely does not take to strangers easily so this bond means a great deal.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Cedar as a housesitter, especially if there are pets in the house.
